our team in the following roles:

Director of Marketing Operations

Beam is one of the fastest-growing wellness brands in the U.S., built on a mission to make feeling good both delicious and effective. We’re looking for a Director of Marketing Operations to bring clarity, structure and efficiency to our fast-moving marketing organization.

This role is equal parts strategist, operator, and connector. You’ll lead the process that turns big ideas into on-time, high-quality launches, ensuring alignment between marketing, product, creative, and company leadership. This role sits at the center of our creative process—helping prioritize deliverables in Asana, manage creative timelines, and coordinate the many moving parts that bring campaign creative and photoshoots to life.

You’ll own the marketing calendar, manage cross-functional planning, and establish the systems that keep the entire team focused on what matters most.

What You’ll Do

Drive Operational Excellence

  • Build and manage Beam’s marketing operating system—the processes, tools, deadlines, and workflows that enable the team to move fast and stay aligned.
  • Develop and deploy ways of working that improve collaboration and communication across creative, brand, growth, and product teams.
  • Identify and remove bottlenecks, and drive consistent accountability across stakeholders.

Lead Cross-Functional Planning

  • Own the marketing and product launch calendar, ensuring priorities are clear, deadlines are met, and resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Partner with product, creative, and growth teams to develop integrated launch plans that balance storytelling with performance.
  • Facilitate marketing leadership meetings and planning sessions, aligning teams around quarterly and annual goals.

Creative Production

  • Partner with Creative, Marketing, and Product teams to plan and execute all photoshoots
  • Own the photoshoot budget as well as vendor and location sourcing
  • Own the prioritization of all creative tasks in Asana laddering up to wider Marketing Calendar

Champion Communication + Scaled, Repeatable Launches

  • Act as the connective tissue between marketing and the broader company, ensuring visibility into priorities, timelines, milestones and results.
  • Create a repeatable framework for campaign and product launches—from brief to execution to post-mortem.
  • Build systems that make Beam’s marketing plans predictable, scalable, and measurable.
  • Partner with finance and analytics to measure impact, ensure profitability, and translate learnings into future planning.

Who You Are

  • 7–10 years of experience in marketing operations, project management, or integrated marketing leadership, ideally in a high-growth consumer or DTC brand.
  • Proven success in building scalable processes and systems across cross-functional marketing and product teams.
  • Deep understanding of creative and campaign lifecycles—from concepting and content creation to execution and analysis.
  • Exceptional communicator and organizer who thrives in environments with multiple moving parts.
  • Strategic thinker who can zoom out to see the big picture, but tactical enough to execute with precision.
  • Calm under pressure, solutions-oriented, and energized by turning ambiguity into clarity.

Why Beam

At Beam, you’ll have the opportunity to build the marketing infrastructure behind one of the fastest-growing wellness brands in the country. You’ll partner directly with senior leadership, influence how we go to market, and shape how ideas turn into results.

Performance Creative Strategist (Paid Social)

About the Role:

We are looking for a Performance Creative Strategist who combines the analytical brain of a media buyer with the storytelling instincts of a copywriter.

Reporting directly to our Performance Marketing Lead, you will be the architect of our creative testing roadmap. Your job is not to "make things look pretty." Your job is to analyze why an ad is working (or failing), hypothesize new angles, and write the detailed briefs that empower our design team to produce winning assets for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok.

What You Will Do:

  • Translate raw data and marketing goals into clear, actionable Creative Briefs for our video editors and graphic designers.
  • Support the creation of high-performing scripts, hooks, and headlines. You understand the difference between a "brand story" and a direct-response "hook" that stops the scroll in the first 3 seconds.
  • Partner with the Paid Social Lead to define the weekly Creative Testing Agenda.
  • Innovate on testing methodologies. You won't just test "Video A vs. Video B." You will design tests for specific variables: Visual Hooks, Value Props, Text Overlays, and CTAs.
  • Identify "Creative Fatigue" before it happens and have the next round of iterations ready to launch.
  • Lead the weekly "Creative Review" meeting. You will present a breakdown of creative metrics (Thumb-Stop Ratio, Hold Rate, Click-Through Rate, Conversion Rate).
  • Turn insights into action. If a video has a high hold rate but low clicks, you are the one who writes the brief to fix the CTA.
  • Build and maintain a "Swipe File" of competitor ads and trending formats on TikTok and Meta. You are the team's eyes on the ground for what is currently working in the market.

Who You Are:

  • 2-4 years in a creative strategy, copywriting, or performance marketing role within DTC Ecommerce or an Agency.
  • Comfortable looking at a spreadsheet in Excel to find the winner, but you are equally comfortable writing a storyboard for a video editor.
  • You understand the psychology of selling. You know frameworks like AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) and PAS (Problem, Agitation, Solution).
  • You know the difference between a Reel, a Story, and a Feed post. You understand "safe zones" and native platform aesthetics.
  • You can manage high volumes of creative requests and keep the feedback loop between buyers and designers moving fast.

Bonus:

  • Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Canva, Premiere) to create "Frankenstein" edits or mockups for the design team.
  • Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini) to speed up ideation and storyboarding.

Location & Benefits:  Boston, MA; New York, NY; San Diego, CA; Austin, TX (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office)

We offer:
✔ Fully covered medical benefits + dependent contributions
Unlimited PTO
✔ 401k with up to 4% match

Paid Social Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a technically proficient Paid Social Lead with 3-4 years of hands-on experience to own the execution and optimization of our paid media accounts.

Reporting into our Performance Marketing Lead, you will be the guardian of our budget and the architect of our account structure. Your primary focus is ensuring every dollar spent on Meta is tracked, optimized, and paced perfectly to hit our CPA and ROAS targets.

Key Responsibilities (The Day-to-Day)

  • Account Execution & Optimization: Own the daily workflow in Meta Ads Manager. This includes launching campaigns, managing bids, refreshing audiences, and troubleshooting delivery issues to ensure account health.
  • Budget Pacing & Allocation: maintain strict control over monthly budgets. You will actively shift spend between campaigns and platforms based on daily performance trends to maximize efficiency without overspending.
  • Audience Segmentation: Build and refine complex audience structures. You will manage exclusions, lookalikes, and retention lists to ensure we are acquiring new customers and not just retargeting the same people repeatedly.
  • Testing Agenda Implementation: Design and execute a structured testing framework. While creative is provided by the design team, you define the variables and strategy: testing bid strategies (Cost Cap vs. Lowest Cost), attribution windows, landing page destinations, and ad concepts and personas.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Update daily tracking sheets and produce weekly performance reports. You must be able to spot trends in CPMs, CTRs, and Conversion Rates immediately and adjust the strategy before money is wasted.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary point of contact for pixel issues, all funnels relating to your ads, catalog sync errors, and CAPI integrations. You ensure the "plumbing" of the ad account is always functioning.

Requirements (Technical Skills)

  • 3-4 Years Hands-On Experience: You have spent the last few years inside Meta Ads Manager daily for an ecommerce brand or performance agency. You know the platform UI better than your own backyard.
  • Structural Mastery: You have a strong opinion on campaign structure (CBO vs. ABO, Consolidation vs. Segmentation) and can build clean, organized ad accounts that are easy to audit.
  • Excel/Sheets Proficiency: You are comfortable with VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables to analyze large datasets outside of the ad platforms.
  • Attribution Knowledge: You understand the difference between Click-Through and View-Through attribution and can articulate how changes in attribution windows affect reported ROAS. You deeply understand how one channel plays a part in the entire performance ecosystem.
  • Expansion Experience: Experience launching or managing TikTok Ads with a focus on Spark Ads and catalog integration is highly preferred.

Location & Benefits:  Boston, MA or New York, NY, San Diego, LA, Austin (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office)

We offer:
✔ Fully covered medical benefits
Unlimited PTO
✔ 401k with up to 4% match
